A handful of The Zeitgeist Movement Members meet up at a New Your Chapter meeting and hit the Union Square in New Your City. They were able to hand out over 50 Zeitgeist Addendum DVDs and fliers to the public in Union Square, thath they all collectively brought to the event.

The Debt Engine is a phrase to describe unrelenting, forever increasing private and government debt. The need to stay ahead of escalating debt fuels practically everything we do; it forces us out of bed in the morning to go to jobs that most of us despise. Corporations make all their decisions around first how to service their snowballing debt, and secondly around profit. Governments spend all their time worrying about how to meet their social agendas while at the same time service the increasing debt load of deficit spending.
As a motivating force, the Debt Engine now exceeds all others in the insane dash of the planet towards self destruction. Universal unrepayable debt creates a social environment in which certain types of behavior flourish and inhibits or destroys any tendency towards long term concerns and nourishment. A branch of a German media giant – Verlagsgruppe Georg von Holtzbrinck, have closed down Zeitgeist groups on their social networking platofrm StudiVZ, under the far-fetched accusation that TZM promotes antisemitism. German StudiVZ is a close equivalent to Facebook. Some of their Zeitgeist Movement groups have counted around 10,000 users. Read the rest of this entry

Hi Everyone, over the last few months i have worked with Nick Mann to forward the Zeitgeist Melbourne meetup.
Shortly i will be moving interstate (near Sydney) where i will continue to be involved in the local community on related matters, in particularly, putting my energy into “FREE LIVING” efforts (getting off the grid etc. and alternative technologies for energy)
All the best with the Melbourne meetups and keep on taking it to the next level!

As a world today we are comprised of two people, People and Unpeople. If you are reading this news then congratulations you are classed as ‘People’. You may think you are unaware of who unpeople are, but you only have to read your daily newspaper or watch the nightly news to realize who they are, well that is in the group sense.
To understand the difference between people and unpeople is not a difficult equation, it actually boils down to something as simple as this. When we look at any war in history you see the people and unpeople very clearly. The people are the allied soldiers who if killed on duty are given a state funeral and portrayed as a hero. But the unpeople on the other hand are the thousands of innocent civilians that die every day at war who are given no state funeral, but are bulldozed into mass graves or are left to perish in the sun like rubbish.
