Well, I hardly know anything about this form of motor but from what I've been told by a friend (which I will be looking into in the near future) is a motor called the "Bedini" motor. Apparently I COULD build a motor that would be enough to power my 850w computer + screen, speakers, refrigerator and evaporative cooling for around $300.

From what I can gather, it's very much like a generator that has two magnets slightly offset so that they attract a piece of metal which would turn and generate electricity before pushing the magnets off again as to attract the piece of metal to turn in the opposite direction - if that makes sense.

I don't know if I can nor if it's as good as I've been told it has been but I thought it might be an interesting motor to look into if you're handy and don't want to spend so much of inefficient solar panels.

I'll let you know how I go when I attempt to build mine in the near future.

Keep me posted. $300 is a drop in the bucket to get off the grid
I have a detached granny flat so it would really be all i need.

Yes I have seen these, but I was always told that perpetual motion machines were impossible, and you can't get something for nothing so to speak.

Nevertheless I have been fascinated with video's such as these

I would also like to know if perpetual motion generators are a reality.

I think that there is a way to get an infinite motion generator, I just think it might have to be EXTREMELY accurate, perhaps even down to the atom, regarding the components size and positioning.
