It would be great if they could come online. I'm from NSW and I want to get back there ASAP, but im overseas at the moment.

Yes a chat room would be nice, but a message board chat room would be better, because with a message board chat room, you can save the messages into the forum for some major points
though can still work like a IRC or java chat room.

Both these things are already available from the main site. Voice or IRC chat
Maybe use these so people can find you and keep up in their own time. There is an Australia/NZ room and you could organise group meeting time etc. in the appropriate forum chapters and use the facilities already available.
Just my thoughts so as to not leave too many out.
Try the new Atrium platform http://www.chapters.zeitgeistaustralia.org/ this should be activists first point of call for all official zeitgeist communication.
Had a look at it , bandwidth hungry , 5 MB just to get across 3 pages, and look at the notebook.
In UKI network slows to 1KB/ Sec on a braodband wireless, so I haven't got all day to check reply.
Besides, I dont like anything that uploads 1.5MB (& downloads 3.2MB) while I look at 15K volume of data,
Let me know when you can log in, in lightweight mode. Your zeitAust.org is fine the way it is, except
needs LIFO stack, to save drilling thru 16 pages to get to current post. Very frustrating paging thru,
when a returning member. The FIFO is only great for newbies , Y not put a personalized chioce button ?
Chat rooms are (disjointed) & far less functional that permission access publish a-la WIKI , I may find time to see if ATRIUM likes a slimming diet, maybe look at enabling persistant cache locally.
DID I see a downloadable client ? A module for what ? or was that imagination.
You must log in to post.
