Can I suggest we get some kind of "Code Of Conduct" agreed upon for the forums? I'll suggest a couple of points I'd like to raise as agreed appropriate conduct:

    - Any code of conduct should be something which is agreed upon by all members participating in the forums so there should be thread dedicated to maintaining that code; somewhere items can be added, removed or changed by vote.

    - The Australian Zeitgeist Movement web forum is for discussion of Australian specific topics or topics requiring discussion within an Australian context only, all other Zeitgeist Movement discussion should be taken to the international forums

    - Forum threads should be as concise and focused as possible. This means that if you have multiple project ideas then you should start multiple threads and if a project discussion is becoming too lofty then you should break it into parts and begin new discussions for each part. Moderators should keep an eye out for this sort of thing happening.

    - This one will need some tweaking but I would like to see the scientific method more commonly applied to discussions within the forums. There's often a lot of hot air and not enough steam if you catch my drift.

These are my most prominent thoughts on the conduct of these forums but we'll need everyone to contribute what they can for a code of conduct to hold any meaning.
