This thread is for the sharing and developing of ideas that make use of "fun theory".

To throw rubbish in the bin instead of onto the floor shouldn’t really be so hard. Many people still fail to do so. Can we get more people to throw rubbish into the bin, rather than onto the ground, by making it fun to do? See the results below.

    Deepest bin in the world:

well theres an incentive to both use the stairs and the bin..
i dont think the answers fun. we need to change the mentality that things are only worth doing because of some sort of incentive.

the bin thing is really cool though

    hehe

    peace.

Ahaha, this made me smile and laugh. Such wonderful ideas, such great results.

I can't wait to see what this group do next.

Standup comedy is essentially fun theory!!

I might make a thread or something that seeks out important messages inside some comedy acts... maybe we can mix them into some ZM videos.

i dont think the answers fun. we need to change the mentality that things are only worth doing because of some sort of incentive.

    Incentive:
    –noun
    1.
something that incites or tends to incite to action or greater effort, as a reward offered for increased productivity.

    –adjective
    2.
inciting, as to action; stimulating; provocative.

I don't think incentive is a bad thing. I think it's great in many cases. Giving fun or happiness as an incentive for doing something good... why would anyone want to change that?
