There are several topics that are here to categorize content. Whenever you wish to create a new Topic, please create them in an appropriate section.
- Discussion Lounge - Here you can post your ideas, concerns, questions or debunk the Zeitgeist Movement. This forum has several sub-forums where information should be posted accordingly to the sub-forums naming
- Media Room - All news related to The Zeitgest Movement. Links to media like documents, videos, audio books are welcome here.
- State Forums - like New South Wales, All activism, events, discussions that are relevant on a local or state level.
- Diversions - all off-topics and anything else.
How do I get mail notifications?
Mark a Topic as a Favorite. All favorite topics are treated equally as subscriptions.
How I unsubscribe from Topics ( to not receive any more emails about new posts)?
To stop receiving emails about new post made you need to un-favorite the topic or topics.
Go to your Profile by clicking on the link in the main menu ( next to Chat ) or by clicking on your name in the sidebar.
There you should choose Favorites and use the interface to unsubscribe from a topic.
You can also cancel your subscription whenever you visit a particular Topic that you are subscribed to. In the About this Topic section you can find the appropriate option
How can i contact someone from the Forum?
You cant contact anyone if you are not registered and logged into the forum. If You are logged in, then search for a PM this User link under Forum Members post or avatar, or on his profile page. You can view messages that where send to you in your Profile Page. Any member that receives a Private Message (PM) will be notified through email about it.
Emails are not available for anyone. If You wish to obtain an email for a member then you will have to ask him that personally thought the PM forum system.
This also eliminates the possibility for your email to be harvested by a unauthorized person or a automated system.
What are those Tags?
Tags is a system to ease your search for particular topic. Whenever you make a new Topic you will have the option to add Tags to it. Choose them accordingly to what you are writhing. Whenever choosing tags please note that Tag Books is not the same as Tag books or BOOKS. Please consider that whenever choosing your tags and use small caps in general.
Uploading Files
Whenever you make a reply to a Topic or make a new Topic - this forum allows you to attach a file to it - like photos or documents.
Members of this forum can upload these extensions:
'gif','jpeg','jpg','pdf','png','txt','doc','odt','bmp' - not larger than 250Kb
Moderators can upload these extensions:
'gif','gz','jpeg','jpg','pdf','png','txt','zip','doc','odt','rar', 'bmp' - not larger than 2Mb
Admins ( or key masters ) can upload these extensions:
'bmp','doc','gif','gz','jpeg','jpg','pdf','png','txt','xls','zip','doc','odt','doc','exe','rar' - not larger than 2Mb ( thou a admin is capable of manually uploading any file of any size )
Reasons why regular users cant upload .zip, .rar or .exe files is of course to create a virus free and hacker free environment.BUT if you want to upload a file that goes beyond your privileges - do not hesitate to contact a moderator or a administrator to check that file and upload it for you.
