Hey I just created a facebook group for The Zeitgeist Movement - Townsville chapter hope to hear from more people, and hopefully we can start up a monthly or bi-monthly meetings.
Just wanted to add you dont need to become an active member, and attend regular meetings. I'm going to have the on occasion "open" meeting, where we talk about the movement, meet and greet, etc. and im going to have meetings for those who want to get more involved but both are of course completely voluntary, you dont need to be active in order to be a member. but please sign up on the facebook page, it would be good to get numbers, meet other people who are interested in the movement etc. plus it will be easier to keep everyone informed of upcoming events which i should hopefully be getting off the ground this year, if not 'hitting the ground running' start of next year.

Hi. I'm also in Townsville and am keen to get a chapter happening here and establish a presence in the community. It would be great to get some idea of numbers.
how does 10.30 sat 3 Dec at Aitkenvale Library sound to everyone. Its awhile away as i dont know how often people check back here.
No good for me unfortunately since I work until 3pm on Saturdays. It would need to be 3.30 on Saturday or a weeknight after 5.30 (preferably Monday), or a Sunday (any time) for me to attend. I don't know what everyone else's schedules are like, but perhaps we can all put forth our available days/times and try to find something that works for the majority.

as for dec sun sounds good. same time. after this sat hopefully there will be more people interested.
occupy townsville is being held ever sunday so far. 1pm to 6pm at the strand, next to the D. have been giving out Zeitgeist Moving Forward DVDs.
