main page "Privacy Policy"...
The text "Your email will never be sold, given or used by any other organization." appears to be unreadable on some monitor types.
Probally should consider lightening up the colour of that particular grey in the css?
Spell checker on forum can be changed to an Australian dictionary?
Would be nice if quote boxes in posts showed the user being quoted.
Also, when browsing topics, per-page links for each topic (e.g., "Topic Title (1 2 3 4)") would be cool
The ability to preview a reply before posting or editing would be good too.
hehe. i think we do need to upgrade to implement those. Unless we get a php "god" on board haha
Hi guys,
I don't wanna put anyone out but I think this site could do with a bit of tweaking...
Who runs it and who are the techies? I'd like to help out as I'm a web programmer anyway.
There are a few immediate things that need addressing, I'm sure you're aware but I'll list them anyway:
"Page 1" Error on main page
Sign up box on main page too wide
Dead images in sidebar
No link to main page from forum
http://www.zeitgeistaustralia.org/vic/ needs some content
These are all jobs I'm happy to volunteer for so just let me know if you want help.
Are there discussions about whether to have the site in WP, Joomla etc? I use and love both but would recommend Joomla for one major reason - integrated forum.
The Zeitgeist Canada site is bloody awesome, I recommend taking some inspiration from them.

Colouring:
Just like places like McDonald's and other places they use colour in their marketing.
So we really have to do the same,
Brighter viberent colour's that draw the eye's in towards the site will help keep focus
on the information inside the website,
So a new colour scheme should be decided on.
General Forum Design idea's:

to bring them inline with the rest of the site.
-Remove the word reply from the site,
-Replace the "Message Title: (be brief and descriptive)" with Reply post title.
-Removal of the >> at the end of the send post button.

-Topic Name/header placed above picture with access to more room so less over lapping.
-Post/Member details, placed under poster picture, align to the left.
-PM user changed to picture with a a:hover of discription of said picture,
placed directly under the posters picture.
-Report user changed to a picture and placed at top right of User picture.
-hr break line between the topic name, and other content.
I will draw up some template's soon if needed.

Picture based button's.
Currently my wife is drawing the picture's for
-New topic
-Old topic
-Fwd bkwd button's
With the internet in Australia, becoming faster though the use of DSL,
I believe we can make the site more visualy stimulating, for person's
that might require it. while keeping a text background though mouse hovering
doing so will allow more access for person's who might be less inclined to
reading, to become more active,
To visually show the peace, and acceptance, towards things.
using a monotone colour pallet is out dated for today's common user(s).
Sorry I posted this in the wrong thread it seems.
-Thank you.
