    Hey there,

I'm new here. I became aware of the Zeitgeist movement through the film 'collapse'. I noticed that Michael Ruppert, the man featured in this movie is taking part in a survival course in America. Information about the course can be found here:

My question is, perhaps there is a similar thing we could do in Queensland? Sure, a lot of the wildlife and forests have been destroyed here, but there surely would be parts of Queensland that are still left where one could learn how to live off the land in..

It would be great to live in a sustainable community rather than going back to primitive life in the wild of course! I understand that is the main idea behind the Zeitgeist movement. But what about the short term? What if the shit hits the fan a lot sooner than we think it will? Living off the land (what little of it is left) will be the only way to survive..

So what do people think about the idea of finding a queensland version of Tom Browne Jr. and getting him to teach us?

I like the idea of learning about bush remedies. Most indiginous cultures have had cures for most common illnesses and ailments that often work better than the medication we pay through the nose for. It's sad that this knowledge is slowly being lost.
