For anyone out there that is interested. I am in the process of starting a social & environmental media project that is independent of "The Venus Project". That hopes to bring greater public awareness of a future resource based economy (eg. the V project).
The concept is fairly simple, if not completely radical but what better way to promote the V project than by drawing attention with something different as well as unique.
Basically it's about getting my microlight-trike pilots certificate, travelling Australia as well as overseas by either microlight trike or motorcycle with a trailer & transportable kayak. Actively promoting "The Venus Project" while at the same time recording my journey with video & images for my website http://www.citizenjourno.com.au. Relating to flying microlights, active Venus Projects, water, weather & warm cloud seeding with a few others thrown in.
While my primary focus will be on stories relating to water as being one of our most valuable natural resources on this planet. I have chosen to start this project off with pursuing the habitat & distribution of the most Australian of water icons, "The Platypus" in the hope of gaining sponsorship from "Australian Geographic Magazine". I also hope to gain sponsorship from "Dick Smith" as well as "Deus Motorcycles" or "Airborne" trikes.
This may take a while so if anyone out there is interested in putting there name & financial support behind my actions, then I would like to hear from you in the not so distant future. The more the merrier and the quicker "The Venus Project" can be promoted to the Australian public, through my active promotion.
I am also presently in search of a genuinely adventurous female travelling companion, interested in adventure travel. To join me on this journey. Any active response, will be warmly returned.
Please contact me for further details,
Ross.
