Obviously, you do not have to be a member of, or live in NSW to be part of and/or contribute to this project...

Members of the Sydney chapter have discussed a new project team dedicated to the creation of a short movie. The general consensus is for a more 'mainstream' approach to some of the contextually important tenants/fundamentals of TVP, with the goal of questioning and hopefully facilitating for the value system shift that many feel is necessary for the movement to gain 'critical mass'. In these beginning stages, set design and delivery will be deliberately influenced by 'the story of stuff' but obviously the project will evolve and become its own entity. As usual, anyone with relevant skill sets or ideas are invited to contribute.

So... what exactly is this short movie about? Do you mean a short doco style introduction to the TVP transition? You should refer to it as a doco, short movie implies a fictional story related to TVP.

I am eager and willing to help. I have studied film and screen media and am currently writing my own script and am developing my directorial skills. Also have very strong abilities and experience in Art Department - i.e. set design. I am also able to give advice on what it will take to pull of a professional production, whether or not is has a budget.

Please let me know any way that I can help out.

if you go to the NSW chapter section there is a link to the project's facebook page... at this stage nothing is set in stone but there is a little more information posted there. TVP tour has taken priority(as it should) so other than the basic direction it is blank slate... this may be a good or bad thing, depending on the person

at any rate, thanks for the interest in the project... it would be great to have you on board^^

Freyacat and neongraffiti have posted some excellent info on the Reserve Bank of Australia and how it works in THIS THREAD. I'm impressed. This would be an excellent resource for the Aus chapters if we could condense it into a 10-15min clip and use it to promote ZM in Australia don't you think?

I've been thinking that it might be a good project for Australian chapters to put together some short clips on Australian specific Zeitgeist topics, such as this research on the RBA and use them both as an introduction to the movement and as a way of promoting it. Thoughts?
