Question. If the spirit of the movement is against the political system altogether, and
voting in Australia is compulsory, for the true believers of the zeitgeist movement and The
Venus Project, who are we to vote for? After all there will be a Federal Election this year.

Well I wouldn't want to speak for the whole movement but I'm planning to vote for whichever political party I see as holding the most in common with ZM on a values level. For me, that's the greens hands down.

I'm not enrolled to vote... It's my birth 'right', or should I say privilege from the US.
Which is something that should change in Australia, I have never understood this law that enforces all citizens of age to vote.

Ever read the global greens charter?

VERY interesting read. You will find it very familiar to the ZM.

Voting is not compulsory in Australia, however turning up at the polling booth and getting your name checked against the electoral roll records is compulsory. I agree, that for those of us who do want to vote, the Greens are the best option, and their policies are worth having a look at. I hope that ZM will always remain a movement; if it becomes a political party it will run the danger of being co-opted into the system that got us into this mess in the first place.

I agree with your comments freyacat, and although we may be getting of the topioc here, I say don't vote' don't work, (in the confines of the system; ie money), don't participate in the system at all. And as I paradoxically tap this up on my coal powered computer and wonder how the up coming mirnong crop will be this year.........another little piece dies. (cries), damn these flies, any one got a can of "mortein"(sic). WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?
