Movies That Matter: “Human Resources: Social Engineering in the 20th Century”

Hi fellow Geisters!

It is that time of the month again, the anticipated event ‘Movies That Matter’. This month we will focus on Behavioural Economics!

“Human Resources” is a documentary about Social Control, examining the history, the philosophy and ultimately the pathology of elite power.

This Saturday we will be showing a documentary called ‘Human Resources: Social Engineering in the 20th Century’ along with 2 short clips.

The film will be shown in Lane Cove Library. Seats are limited, so RSVP is essential. We will meet at the library’s cinema room (through the main door to the right until the end of the corridor) at 1PM sharp. After the film we will gather at a cafe to chat about the film, and to choose what we will show next month.

Apologies once again for cancelling this last month. We have carried on the theme for this month – hope everyone can make it!

The poll for next month will be posted up today for voting. We will be closing the poll next Thursday as we are making up flyers to promote next months Movies That Matter. So get your votes in!! On that note, anyone who is interested in handing out some flyers around Lane Cove, please meet Stuart and Belinda in front of Lane Cove Library at 12pm next Saturday! 🙂
