Note: Please bring pen & paper ( most likely you will hear interesting news/links/books or just contacts that you would like to have notes off ) Also, if you have any relevant information/news/dvd’s, bring them along to the meeting – best with some spares to be passed around.
No pre-booking is required – just come on time, usually not less than 10 people come to our meetings with a maximum ( so far ) 26.

I would like to attend this, I’ve never been to a Zeitgeist meeting, can you guys if possible give me a summary of how these meetings usually work? Any info will give me an idea of what to expect/what kind of documents to bring with me and whatever…
I do have a lot of questions regarding a lot of the topics that have been brought up in Zeitgeist addendum, so I’m really eager to see if you guys have backed info.
Also, do you guys know how many people usually attend one of these meetings?

Our meetings are open, so anyone can attend. The meetings are divided into 2 parts: the first 2 hour is an introduction to the Movement, coupled with a presentation and followed by an open discussion. We use a speakers list so we can give a chance to everybody to ask questions and we answer those.
The second part is strictly for activism related issues and we talk about concrete activities and projects.
Please bring pen and paper and take notes!

My efforts are in the form of mass producing copies of Zeitgeist I & II and distributing with the final goal of delivering this information to every household, company and government organisation in Australia.
I realise that not all will watch or agree with this information, however I am compelled to deliver this message in this way.

Just what is the carrying capacity of the earth? I plan to come to your meetup and discuss this very point. I would also like to discuss how your “movement” differs at all from delusional communist utopian ideology. Fresco and millions before him have wanted to put a lid on “Human behaviour”, to control it, but they all have all ended up as dictators. What makes you think that some feeble little man sitting on his farm all day making models that look like they came out of a bad 60s futurist movie has the answers, when millions before him have failed? You can’t control human nature, and you nor can your precious super computer. It cannot dictate what the “Carrying capacity” of the earth is, no more than the United Nations, who also use this term to advocate population control, and have been using it far longer than this washed up communist Fresco. Wake up you fools, you are being misled because you like the idea of giving up all your rights so you can be lazy, decadent slaves in a technocratic dictatorship. Personal liberty and self determination combined with education and human morals are the only way to solve the problems you so desperately want solved. Placing your faith in communistic systems will lead you all from one form of slavery to another. Wake up.

With regard to Rob’s comments posted Sept.8th, I have arrived at the same conclusion and feel that most if not all people will benefit from seeing the Zeitgeist I & II movies. My contribution as that of Rob’s, is to get the information out there for people to see.

I have always felt and pretty much known the world has gone all wrong, and that it is going to get worse before it ever gets any better (if it gets better at all) but as an individual, I cannot do anything but live within the constraints of the system I was born into, and live my life and make something of it, and not allow myself or my family to go into poverty.
I do believe that if enough people are made aware (woken up) and notified of the little changes they can use to bring down some of these mighty businesses that control our lives, it can be beneficial to some degree.
But in all understanding of the system we live in (which you have very well explained to us again), we will all fail at making any major changes in this world due to the lies and corruption that goes on around us by the people in power and even by people that are not in power.
Any individual with an ounce of common knowledge knows what we need and what things should be like, but the system does not allow him or her to do anything, as they are driven into the ground and pulverized by the powers that be and punished for anything they do outside of the system in so many ways.
I would like to see more conclusive information of what people can do in their lives that can help make some of these changes, but which do not legally implicate them nor financially destroy them and are sustainable options supported by non profit organizations / businesses that want to make a change.
So in other words, after all the effort that was put into telling us what is wrong, put in the same effort into telling us how to make it right as well.
But, none the less, lets get the information out there for all to view and understand most of all.!

Im all for freedom of the mind and improving ones lifestyle by aligning yourself to nature and naturally avaiable energy and resources. BUT i do not see any actual USEFUL information on neither the Zeitgiest nor the Venus Project, ALL just seems to be a bunch of words that are used, and is in essence very “Cult-y” (no offence!)
You can start by actually contributing to improvement by setting up a web page or a section on your site dedicated to links where you can get information on DIY safe energy creation. Personally, I would like to get a hold of some viable plans on how to build a solar car from scratch, so that I can do that for myself.
Talk is important but its easy. Please SUPPORT via providing people with a means to begin improving their lifestyle. I would say a good start is the Electric car.

Hi all,
After watching all Zietgeist films it has changed my prospective of the world, how things work and people are built/made to think, and it makes me feel bad if i cant be able to share the knowledge and convey the messages from the movement. The monetary system that has been used and believed for decades have crushed peoples lives, living in a Indonesia and feeling the effects of our monetary crisis, i personally think that there is a better system or way to change the lives of our people and of course the rest of the world. Money has brought the world (esp Indonesia) into a land of corruption, slavery, backstabbing politicians selling their backsides as if they we’re Indonesian idols. and nevertheless causing the rise of uneducated children, poverty, crime, and suffering. We need something different something better.
Understanding what The Venus Project is proposing with their Resource Based Economy and technological society, even as far as it sounds it’s still better than what we have today, and I’d go for better any day. However tho, an idea such as the zeitgeist movement or the venus project is difficult to communicate to people here, to make them understand how things work and how things should be. I truly believe that what the venus project is all about will truly change our lives and the planet that we live in a better place. But I agree what Mr. Lobo has to say, could it be possible from the movement or venus project itself to share their knowledge and way to create the life that we all want, it would be great if we could have easily read module on how to produce free energy in a local community environment. Ideas such as this would be great, and i hope to see this from the Australian Chapter.
I must say that an Indonesian Chapter should be made asap, so guy please allow me to learn how your chapters work (well since our islands aren’t so far apart) and hopefully i will be able to invite more of the same visionaries from Indonesia. I hope that you guys could advise me on simple basic steps (well next to distributing and screening movies) i would really appreciate it. Again thank you for the information and i hope that we can truly reach our cause.

Hi,
Acceptance of change in any capacity by one or more individuals generally is a gradual procedure. So the proposal of a world and way of life that we have not lived in for a very longtime, or a time period in which the history books have forgotton about will be a difficult transition not in application but in my mind set.. It has been explained, shown and demonstrated in history that for monumental swings in the approach to how,where what we do, how we speak, how we think, treat each other etc,. For such changes to occur it will inturn be not left to the government,large, small business or any organisation so be it…It is people power. And yes you will understand that is what the Zeitgeist Movement is driven by. And with this power of the people who obviously is growing day by day as the awareness grows, change will inevitably occur. Will it occur in my lifetime or my childrens childrens lifetime…Well that answer will be arrived at in the space of time itself. Unfortunately I am of the belief what Jacque ideals, direction and dream for this world is only the next step to human evolution. The sad fact being that we have lived in tranquil peace in the past. In period so long ago that it has been forgotton about, And what Jacque proposes is a method to head back in that direction in which we can can live in harmony together. Now yes I am very Idealistic in nature along with most of the people in this world who want to live in peace and those supporting this movement. Though for some reason – If you talk in such a manner to another person who has accepted this world the way it is they will find it hard to agree with you. Understandably so. And again I’m of the belief that if this movement can some how inform in opening up the eyes of the people who have accepted the world is the way the world is then we might just have a chance because it is those people who are holding us back from evolving into a species that will and can live in exsistance in harmony and tranquil peace with ourselves and everything that encompasses this universe.

I like the ideas espoused here but one cold, dark fact remains. Those who control the processes,wealth and propaganda now are not going to give it all up to what they perceive a bunch of self aware modern hippies without a fight. pure and simple. Jacque has great ideas and I wish nothing more than to see the banking system crippled and destroyed but peaceful people like him will come and go and have gone through time without so much as a whimper of change occurring to the machinations of the system, we will only create hick-ups and the beast will continue to grow. The system loves peaceful people like Jacque who just quietly send their message, they can be dismissed as hippies and not taken seriously. What is needed is to fight it on its own terms, we need to take the fight up to them! We need to set aside one day a year, say the 5th November,Guy Fawkes day and start a yearly sit in across the globe . Just stop work for a day and take off our mind control helmet and sit in every major city in the world. It might start slow but i think over time more and more people will snap out and gradually as the numbers grow we can be a force to be reckoned with. They who have the gold make the rules and they will not roll over and give up any power, money or control easily! Think about it, i will hopefully come to the meeting and get to meet some of you, cheers Peter

I feel as though i have travelled a parallel universe but have arrived at the same place Zeigeist has and certainly the information is out there and right under our noses, but we mostly remain complacent and ignorant most of us. Society helps us to be ignorant by design and we accept it as one in a mental institution willingly surrenders their will to taking the mind numbing medicine they/we are given by those in charge. Our Governments must be made to govern for the people once again, be opened to scrutiny as those whose machinations have ensured our liberties and privacies are no longer so. To this end our purpose must be to expose those who would be hidden either by motive, action or deception, and i fully support your cause and agree with the comment “i do not know what God is, but i do know what God isn’t” and it is our job to make this deception be heard in wider audiences so people can stand against this tyranny. Hello Australian Zeitgeist family
The issues touched on are, shall we say, touchy! I love seeing people all fired up, and appreciative of how some posts serve to diffuse the negative energy of previous comments.
That’s really what I see this whole thing being about. If we are to improve life on this planet, we’ll need to diffuse what hasn’t happened in the past, and offer solutions.
I was working to bring Jacque and Roxanne from Florida to North Carolina while I was living there, and now that I’m in Australia it’s good to know they are planning to come in April.
Call me old fashioned, but I still enjoy working a lot while my job is not yet completely automated. I think full automation is a ways away. The first step is renewable energy, right?
I’d be happy to talk with anyone about improvements to the renewable energy infrastructure in Australia. Between this country and the USA we can get it right. We’re getting close.

I really enjoyed the last meeting and look forward to the next! In my opinion, if people have been willing to accept the rot of our current world system, then they can accept an upgrade. Small steps taken by empowered individuals who have caught the vision will grow into great leaps forward for humanity. We have a planet of abundance, of renewable energy sources and of astounding beauty and diversity! We can make it happen!

You can expect a bigger roll-up this month after Chard Currie’ article in the present New Dawn. I’ve been toying with the title of a proposed book: ‘Post-capitalism’. Also, I have written a self-improvement book, and want to market it as an eBook, but will experiment with the concept of “Donate-ware”: I donate the book to the world, and the receiver donates what he assesses the book’s value is to him.
On the question of engineering a social revolution in economics, I believe greatly in catch words or catch phrases. We need to give people an idea that switches their mind over to a POSITIVE attitude: in the beginning will be the word, and it will be something like the polar opposite of “user pay”.

Hey. I’m keen on meeting up and bouncing views and ideas with other peeps. Is this in preperation to zday on the 13th? I would like to be involved on the 13th on anything necassary if any promotional material is available. Zeitgeist ideology with me for more then 30 years . i heard about this movement one mouth ago only.and i watch the movie .
i can’t see any structure in the movement to get the goal .
so many people never herd on this moment and if they are ,they don’t know what is it
about. to get the goal the moment mast have big number of supporters.
and this can be dune only systematically .
thousand of movies copy clear explanation and address to enroll .
i am sure that we all can find the way and work together.
