I have been an active member only since July 2010 and now realise that their is something lacking in the movement. It is not with the ideas and ideals, but us. I have been a member of several organisations of like minded people over many years and discovered that unless the members make the oganisation a part of our social network as well as our commitment to improving the world at large, we will continue to have a floating membership. I have only missed one meeting since joining and have only met six or seven of you.
Where are you all? new members have come and gone in this time, and from previouis comments it’s not because they don’t believe in TZM but because they haven’t had any personal social satisfaction from it.
This is only a suggestion, but why not try a social get together on a Sunday afternoon in say, Hyde Park, or the Botanical Gardens or the Domain at the Kiosk opposite the art gallery. Just to meet, make friends, get to know each other like the ordinary people we are.

What do you say?

Shame the Sydney meeting is on a Friday, it makes hard for those from the regional area’s to attend. Can we perhaps schedule future meetings on a weekend?

I will attend on Friday night.
I would like to see the references to some of the statements made.
There are economists who are also concerned with the debt.
Questions I would ask on Friday are:
“How many more financial crises will we have to experience before we realise that speculative finance has to be tamed?”
“Could our monetary and economic systems be tamed?”

Hi to all
Zeitgeist ideology with me for more then 30 years . i heard about this movement one mouth ago only.and i watch the movie .
i can’t see any structure in the movement to get the goal .
so many people never herd on this moment and if they are ,they don’t know what is it
about. to get the goal the moment mast have big number of supporters.
and this can be dune only systematically .
thousand of movies copy clear explanation and address to enroll .
i am sure that we all can find the way and work together.
